Job Description Preparation of solutions as per SOPs
  Preparation of fermenters for Autoclaving as per SOPs
  Collection of samples from fermenters during run.
  Harvesting of fermenters.
  Separation of cells from broth by centrifugation
  Preparation of cotton plugs and flasks for experimentation.
  Cleaning of refrigerators and cold rooms under instruction.
  Preventive (Non-Engineering) maintenance of fermenters and other equipments including spectrophotometers, balances, incubators, water tanks and Chillers.
  Connection of gas supplies to incubators and fermenters
  Maintain buffer stocks of chemical for routine use in laboratory.
  Maintain buffer stocks of spares of fermenters for routine use in laboratory
  Any other job which requires scientific skills and physical engagement.
Desired Profile  B. Sc. having than 4 year research experience / 12th having more than 10 year research experience.
  ·         Knowledge about calculations for basic solution preparation which should include Normality, % and Molarity Calculations. 
  ·         Operational knowledge and experience for fermenter such as Sartorius, Bioengineering and New Brunswick  handling at 2-30 Litre scale either alone or in team which must include but not limited to preparation and operation of fermenter, product recoveries etc.
  ·         Recording of Bioprocess data 
  ·         Brief knowledge of cGMP/GLP.
  ·         Handling of pathogenic microbes. Use of fermentation software
  ·         Able to work in team
  ·         Able to give attention to details.
  ·         Able to organize and plan effectively
